  • The value curve comes from data for the model where we have it, otherwise from the brand's typical value after three years, otherwise from a generic Swedish curve. The result shows which one was used and how certain it is.
  • Mileage is compared with 15,000 km a year, and condition stays as given. Every car is assumed to have a 3-year factory warranty from first registration. Trade-in is 90% and a dealer's asking price 105% of the private sale value.
  • The range shows the uncertainty in the data and about the car, and widens with every year ahead.
  • Values are rounded to the nearest 100 kr. Cost per km is depreciation only — no fuel, tax, insurance or service.
