Privacy policy

Ekonomivett is a free website with financial calculators. There are no user accounts, no forms, no newsletter, no advertising, no analytics and no cookies. We don’t sell or share data with anyone, and we don’t build profiles or make automated decisions about you.

Who is responsible

Ekonomivett is the data controller for the processing described on this page. You can reach us at info@ekonomivett.se.

What you type into the calculators

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never sent to us or anyone else, and they aren’t saved — neither on our side nor in your browser. When you close or reload the page, they’re gone.

What is processed when you visit

Like every website, each page you open is a request from your browser to a server, and that request carries some technical information:

• your IP address
• the address of the page you open, and the page you came from if your browser sends it
• your browser’s type and language setting
• the time of the request

This is used only to deliver the pages to you and to protect the site against attacks and abuse. The home page reads your browser’s language setting to show the Swedish or the English version; that choice isn’t stored. We don’t use the information to identify you or to follow you between pages or sites, and we don’t keep server logs ourselves.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a working and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Keeping a network secure is recognised as such an interest in Recital 49.

Our host, Cloudflare

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which processes the information above on our behalf as our data processor, under its data processing agreement. Your browser may also send Cloudflare reports about failed connections (Network Error Logging), so that network problems can be found and fixed. These reports concern errors, not what you read.

As Cloudflare is a US company, the information may be transferred outside the EU/EEA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and its agreement also includes the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

How long it is kept

We keep nothing ourselves. Cloudflare keeps request information only as long as it needs to run and protect its network, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Cookies

Ekonomivett sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, which is why there is no cookie banner. One exception: if Cloudflare’s protection against automated traffic is triggered, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) to tell people from bots. It isn’t used for tracking and needs no consent.

The fonts are served from our own domain, so opening a page sends nothing to Google or other font services.

Links to other sites

We link to sources such as Skatteverket and Transportstyrelsen. When you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. Your browser only tells them that you came from ekonomivett.se, not which page.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email info@ekonomivett.se. As we keep no information that identifies you, we usually can’t link an IP address to a person, and may therefore have no data about you to act on (Article 11 of the GDPR).

If you think we handle personal data incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se.

Changes

If the way we handle data changes — for example if we add a feature that needs it — we update this page first. The date at the top shows the latest change.
